Had previous roof bars that cost 3 times as much with an overly complicated clamping mechanism and which ripped off in a car wash! These clamp and bolt on, simplicity itself and very secure. Be warned though, attaching 8 nuts on the underside of a roof support rail is fiddly and awkward so take your time. These are light, sturdy, streamlined and look stylish in brushed aluminium.
