Although I was disappointed, I cannot say enough about PetSafe customer service - it was BEYOND outstanding! They shipped a replacement unit immediately, after asking me to do a short-loop test to verify the unit was bad. Initially, I had borrowed my son's unit to test for breaks in the wire (his unit worked great), but PetSafe wanted the short-loop test. It was easy enough to do and verified a unit problem existed. Again, customer service was awesome, and the rep I spoke with was very professional and willing to resolve the issue right then. It would transmit but was only effective on a 100 foot test loop out to about 25 feet then the signal was not there. I ordered a replacement and expect it to arrive any minute now. For all these years, I have been able to keep two cats and two dogs safe with this system on a 1.5 acres enclosure. Tell me what last this long other than gold!Thanks, Pet Safe.P.S. This replaced my old system perfectly and worked immediately.
