A Solid Hard Hat
I have been using the Petzl Vertex helmets for years. They fit very well and easy to adjust. It is a comfortable helmet to wear for 8 hours a day. It’s nice to have the chinstrap feature if you are working aloft or in a windy environment. You can add various accessories such as lenses/eye shields, headlamps and ear muffs to them for added benefits. They are of a sturdy construction and don’t feel cheap like the safety helmets you can buy at your typical home improvement box stores.Yes this helmet is not cheap, but for the amount of time I use it for, I get my moneys worth out of it.

Excelente casco
Llegó en el tiempo estimado, venía bien embalado y tal y como se espera por la descripción, cuenta con muchas certificaciones que lo hacen apto para distintos trabajos, inclo más certificaciones de las que pensé lo cual es genial, es robusto, cómodo y fácil de adaptar al diámetro de la cabeza y es compatible con múltiples accesorios, para este compré el visor VIZIR SHADOW PETZL y se acopla perfecto, me gusta bastante este casco.

Great helmet for replacing a hardhat
Great helmet. Bought a visor and it installed perfectly. Definitely a plus for keeping the sun off face and neck. Light weight and super comfortable. Would definitely buy again.

Better quality than my cheaper helm
The construction of the webbing and attachment of it to the helm is why i bought it. This appears far more superior than my other helms method... that broke which is why i got this. It feels comfortable but the chin strap has me concerned... i will use it in the field this weekend and update this review. I do think i will like it a lot more the the entry lvl BD i just broke but lasted 1 yr.

Helmets are like boots: You have to find one that suits you best. I've always liked these because of the light weight.

Chin strap is too short!!
The chin strap is too short! I have worn Petzl ventilated helmets for years working on bridges and they have always been fine This one needs about 2" added to the chin strap length. I wonder if they can send me a suspension that doesn't have this problem? Its really a problem if you are working in the cold and wear a thin head cap to keep warm. You can do better Petzl!
