**Q: if the micron level is low is it filtering better?  is a 3 micron bettter than a 7?**
A: Yes 3 micron filters better than an 7. It was also get dirty sooner as it picks up more debris. Definitely worth it to run the 3 for the injectors and injection pump health. My filters normally last around 10-12k miles before needing to be changed.
