So if you have the extra bucks on hand and want to try a really great writing pen get this Lamy studio fountain pen. As an oil painter artist I write in my art journals, continuously making notes and tables and all kinds of data documentation and it's really an excellent tool. I utilize the ink cartridge that can be refilled over and over again. I also purchased from Amazon the high-quality Inc. that I use to write. They also make a throwaway small ink cartridge you can purchase however I have found although it's OK. I prefer to use the ink of my choice and is since I use and write a lot a little more economica refilling my own ink cartridge. I would recommend anyone that writes on fine paper and order light in my case art journals. It's an excellent pen for this application. I highly recommend.
