And I had high expectations after pulling the trigger. And, oh boy, I did not get disappointed with this one. The feeling of holding it in my hand after unpacking, it felt like a small dumbbell, so heavy, solid and well-made. The next step was proving to wifey that the expense was justified, so I whipped up some Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. And again, what a difference to my old generic press. Easy pressing (with skins), easy loading, easy quick cleaning in between (removing the skins). General cleaning was a breeze because of the open construction (no smelly hands because the frame works already like a stainless steel soap), and wifey was appeased with some delicious Spaghetti Aglio e Olio.
