The window gets a lot of direct sun light and the blinds didn't help to keep the heat of the sun out. Once I installed I noticed a great difference in the temperature of the room. The last window needs to be redone because the window was very hot during installation which hampered removing bubbles under the film. I installed it my self and wish I had had the squeegee when I did. I used a credit card and I think it makes little scratches on the film. I received the squeegee in the mail after I put it on. I want to do another rooms windows so I’ll use the squeegee and see if it makes a difference. Also if the backing had lines on it like contact paper does it would be so easy to cut to size.
