I have been using the oils directly on my kids & myself, and also my DH indirectly via diffuser.I have found a few drops of Rosalina to be a great bath time addition for colds, congestion, etc. It really seems to help clear out the congestion in my little ones who can't yet blow their noses effectively.My kids & I are recovering much faster from colds, etc. since using these oils. I am also diffusing Rosalina (& my other PT oils) & find the smell so refreshing, yet soothing for colds. The smell of the PT oils is wonderful!I have applied Rosalina & the other oils in some coconut oil to the tops & bottoms of our feet, to chests, to necks, to shoulders, under noses, behind ears & along jaw lines, on spines, on faces & necks, & then I rub anything remaining into my hands. We all smell delicious, have sift skin, & my hands are extra soft & yummy smelling :).This would probably be a great addition to some homemade deodorant, balm, etc.For my deodorant I use coconut oil, powdered sugar, a few drops of glycerin if desired, & about 10-12-15 drops of any EO or blend of EOs... not too much glycerin or it gets too "wet" & melts all over above & beyond how coconut oil reacts when it gets warm. So you just stir the coconut oil & powdered sugar all together until it's the desired consistency you want it to be and then add in the glycerin & EO if desired. Then you put it in a tiny canning jar or clean deodorant tube. I am surprised to say I prefer the finger tip application over the tube as I haven't yet found the right consistency for the tube application that actually stays together as a more solid form yet glides easily enough like store bought deodorant tubes. I am going to experiment with some beeswax to try & make that all happen, but for now I just use the finger tip application & it works VERY well to apply it that way & it works amazingly well to keep the stinkies away!I can't recommend Plant Therapy oils highly enough! They are my fave oils so far & I am trying out various other brands but so far I keep going back to PT for the oils being used on our bodies & in the diffuser as I trust the name fully.I recommend Plant Therapy oils to anybody who is interested in them. Plant Therapy has gone far above & beyond to develop SAFE & EFFECTIVE "KID SAFE" formulas & to make sure parents are aware which oils are safe for their 2-10 year olds; so no guessing involved! That peace of mind & the healing we are experiencing is PRICELESS!!I have kids from babies to teens & I don't want to have to mix up 10 different formulas just to meet the safety guideline for my kids. I LOVE that I can use ONE blend or single oil for them all & know it will not only be okay for our toddler but also for everyone in the family. It's great for supporting the immune system, especially when diffused with lavender and lemon, a pleasant blend. It's somewhat sweet and camphorous, but it's special to me. It's reliable when you get sick... you can diffuse the Rosalina with Saro, Lavender, and Lemon to help your immune system throughout the day.Rosalina is helpful for pain relief blends, and I've used it for that. There is no other oil quite like this one.
