However I had to return for a bigger size, which will totally be fine because it literally shipped to me in like 3/4 days. So plenty of time to grab a new one. I went 6-12 months originally because some reviews said they run bigger. My baby is a chunky 10 month old, about 21ish lbs. It zipped but was pretty snug, could have worked in a pinch but I want her to be comfy and we had time to exchange. Definitely worth the money, pictures don't really do it justice. Usually these types of dresses, obviously made in China, arrive looking nothing like the photos in the ads, the color will be off or the fabric cheap, thin, raggedy etc. NOT this dress 😍 There were a few ends of the threads hanging off from where it was taken off the sewing machine but the dress is evenly and well-sewn and looks every bit as beautiful as in the ad.At the wedding my daughter, who is super tiny for her age (<10%tile) due to a heart defect that inhibits her growth, will be 9 months old. I ordered the 6-12 month size thinking that if it was too big, I could do some minor alterations to make it fit her. Honestly though... I believe that an average sized, chubby 9 month old will have trouble squeezing into the 6-12 month size. If you’re not sure on the size for your baby, order the larger size :)I cannot express how HAPPY I am with this dress. I’m just so thrilled it lived up to my expectations based on the ad.
