For me, however, being a large person, I probably should have shopped for an extra firm (which isn't so easy to find in a twin mattress in my experience). This mattress is very comfortably firm right now, and probably perfect for an average size person, or a guest room in my opinion, but I personally would try to find an extra firm next time around. I must say, though, that I would buy this mattress again for the rest of the family and maybe even for myself again if it holds the (average) firmness that is has right now.
