I had one before that i bought from my local pet store, but they don't seem to carry it any longer, so I was happy to find this one online.I use it when I go to the beach mostly and I wish I would have ordered it sooner, now my little dog gets just the amount of water she wants without other dogs topping the bowl over or getting sand in the water. In fact lots of other dogs running around on the beach came to drink from it because I had the cool fresh water without residue saltwater or sand in it...I also use it when I travel and I no longer end up spilling any excess water or having to bother the flight attendant to take care of what she doesn't drink. Another good thing is the clip on the back of the bottle, it is so convenient to just latch it onto her travel bag or on my own bag when I take her for longer walks.My only complaint with this is not with the product itself but with the way it is ordered. It says "assorted colours" and that Amazon will chose it for you, I have a girly-girl dog and I would have given anything for a pink (or purple) one, I even wrote a note in the gift portion to Amazon asking if they can please send me a pink one - I got a yellow, which means that they were either sold out of ALL the pinks and purples or they just didn't bother to read my note (at least it wasn't blue!)... Basically I wish there was a option to chose the colour you want when ordering...Other than that this product is great and I would absolutely recommend it to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ best pup water bottle *by T***M on September 15, 2024* This is so easy to use and the shape fits into a standard water bottle carrier so easy to take on walks - also fits perfectly in the car cup holder so I keep a couple in the car. One thing to watch out for is that on a very rare occasion the water doesn't come out because the "ball" hasn't spun into the open position but so easy to fix by putting a pen in the opening and shifting it back into place and all is good. Been using Gulpy for ~15yrs and never had a leak. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It Works! *by A***5 on May 25, 2018* This is a great product for when I take my dog outside walking and its a little warmer outside. She drinks easily from it and it didn't leak on me- so thats a win. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is 1. my moms dog is terrified of it and won't drink from it, so my mom will literally poor the water directly into her hands for her dog to drink from. Basically, if she had purchased it, it would be a useless product because her dog is ridiculous, but it bears being noted. 2. Making sure it is completely clean, as the top of the bottle is narrow- so if water sits in the bottle I worry about mold. I haven't had this happen, but I could see it happening. 3. As I live down south, the water doesn't stay cold and I wish the top of the bottle was bigger to allow ice in the bottle. I recognize I could freeze it in the freezer, but the bottle doesn't have a separate top and having some icier it would be nice to keep the water cold for longer periods of time. My dog doesn't NOT drink the water, but I know she gets hot and who doesn't appreciate cold water on hot days?
