**Q: Will this work on yellow flies?**
A: I haven’t seen any “yellow” flies in my area, but my guess is that this trap doesn’t discriminate based on colour.  Baby flies like it, as well as the big juicy green ones.  If your yellow flies like stink, they’ll get sucked in (not literally, of course).

**Q: Do these traps work for black flies?**
A: These trap hundreds of flies. I never check the colors. My yard is fly free and livable.

**Q: Will this work for deer flies?**
A: YES!

**Q: Has anyone used to get rid of horse flies?**
A: Only thing I’m catching is common house fly and nats, but I’m in panhandle of Florida.

I love that they’re safe to use near animals—no harsh chemicals or risks to my flock. The bait is surprisingly effective, and setup is quick and easy. Within a day you will start catching flies. It is stinky so be aware of that but it is so effective. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, eco-friendly way to manage flies, this is the way to go! I'm not even sure how to rate this. It works alright and keep the flies away from the chicken pen but never again. The smell is horrific and something you'll never forget - especially in hot humid weather. Never ever do I want to smell that again.
