Very easy to install and seem like they are made of quality materials, hopefully they will last as long as the originals did.If anyone is interested in seeing how to install these on their own Corvette, it's very simple and I made a quick little tutorial video titled "Corvette Trunk Strut Replacement" listed under my YouTube channel "1Brain4Wheels" - feel free to check it out if you decide to buy these! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2006 C6 Corvette Convertible Trunk Lid *by D***K on January 13, 2019* Worked flawlessly. Open trunk lid all the way. Slide a small flat-head driver into the small rounded tabs where the ball joint is on the ones that are there and pull off with a bit of pressure. Should slide off. Take the new ones out of plastic wrapping and orient them the same way as the factory ones. Then just push with a bit of pressure and they should pop on easily. Worked great on my setup to finally open the trunk lid enough to get my hand in there. I wish they made the trunk lid lighter to actually come up on its own. This made a significant difference from the factory Struts after replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and fast replacement *by L***2 on November 12, 2020* They are gas struts. Nothing complex here.
