"Step Yo' Game Up! - Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest: Elevating Your Videography Game"
I can't say enough about the Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest; it's truly a game-changer for anyone serious about capturing smooth and professional video footage. This system has completely transformed my shooting experience, and here's why I'm so thrilled with it:Comfort and Support: The body-mounted vest and arm combination is nothing short of a revelation. It takes the weight off my arms and shoulders, distributing it across my body, which not only reduces operator fatigue but also allows me to shoot for extended periods without alot of discomfort. The foam-padded comfort vest is incredibly breathable and fits with a bit of adjustment, pretty good. I would like to say you could adjust it for all body sizes. This level of comfort is a 7/8 0ut of 10, but it will make a world of difference in your videography game. This will take a little while tio get used to...Smooth and Stable Movements: The adjustable shock-absorbing arm is a key player in delivering buttery-smooth camera movements. It not only absorbs shocks but also provides the stability needed for professional-quality shots. Whether I'm panning or executing other camera movements, this arm ensures my shots remain steady and shake-free.Customizable Spring Tension: The spring elasticity adjustable knob is a fantastic feature. It allows me to fine-tune the amount of tension based on my setup weight, ensuring optimal performance. This level of customization is essential for capturing the exact shots I envision.Easy to Use and Adjust: Setting up and adjusting the system is a bit confusing the instructions aren't as clear as you would like but you can decipher the information. The proprietary arm-to-vest connector allows me to tweak the angle for a much better fit, and the Velcro straps ensure things stay put. Plus, the push-fit buckles make it easy to remove the vest during short breaks, saving valuable shooting time.Wide Range of Motion: I love the wide vertical range of motion this system provides, including the "Low Mode." It gives me the flexibility to capture shots from various angles, adding depth and creativity to my work. The Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest has revolutionized the way I shoot video. It not only enhances my profession image but also elevates the quality of my footage by providing the stability and support needed for professional results. After I practice drill and rehearse with this for some time, this system will quickly become an indispensable part of my videography kit, and I can't recommend it highly enough to fellow filmmakers and content creators. It can be a game-changer, with consistent perfect practice, plain and simple - plus it gives you a pro look.4 Stars for Value for Money:The 4-star rating for value for money reflects the recognition that the Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest offers a fair balance between cost and the benefits it provides. While it's seen as a valuable investment for serious videographers, the price point might be considered relatively high for some users, especially those who are just starting or have budget constraints. However, the system's build quality, comfort, and stability justify its cost, making it a good value for those who prioritize these features. It offers a professional-level solution at a competitive price, which earns it a solid 4 stars.3 Stars for Comfort:The 3-star rating for comfort suggests that while the Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest provides a notable improvement in comfort compared to handheld setups, it may not meet the highest expectations of all users. Comfort is a subjective aspect, and individual preferences vary. Some users may find the system extremely comfortable, while others might have slightly different body types or requirements that lead to a less-than-perfect fit. The foam-padded vest and ergonomic design are commendable but might not cater to every user's specific comfort needs, hence the 3-star rating.4 Stars for Stability:The 4-star rating for stability underscores the system's ability to provide a substantial improvement in stabilizing camera movements. The Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest successfully reduces operator fatigue and enhances stability during shoots. However, the 4-star rating suggests that while it offers a significant upgrade in stability, it may not achieve absolute perfection in this regard. Some users might encounter minor challenges related to balance or adjustments, which could affect the overall stability. Nonetheless, the system's stability is commendable and substantially enhances the quality of shots, earning it a solid 4 stars. In summary, the Flycam Comfort Stabilizing Arm & Vest earns these ratings based on its overall performance in value for money, comfort, and stability. While it provides excellent value and stability, individual experiences with comfort may vary slightly, leading to a 3-star rating in that aspect. My ratings reflect a balanced assessment of the system's strengths and areas where it may have room for slight improvement.“Practice doesn't make perfect. Practice reduces the imperfection.” ~ KJ

Exactly what I needed - adapted to work with a gimbal
with the addition of a rotating plate, I mounted my Crane 2 Plus gimbal and this has made long shoots so much easier on my arms. I shot 2 music videos using this vest. It was well worth the price

Love the product but....
Love the product, takes a lot of pressure off and allows for more focus on the shot itself. Unfortunately, I got robbed and no longer have the arm part for it which stinks, but it's a good product nonetheless.

Takes a bit of getting used to
Generally speaking, the vest is a good fit after you adjust the straps to your liking. The support arm tension adjustment takes a bit of getting used to and I'm still not sure whether I am supposed to make it tighter or looser for more stability. My first time actually using it for a paid gig was for a music video. The footage came out shakier than if I hand-held the camera. And after 5 hours of shooting, it started to get a bit cumbersome. The build quality is quite nice. Though, there are small features that would make it a better rig. For example, there is a plastic piece you insert at the end to hold your Flycam. It would be great if it could be locked into the hole somehow so that each time you remove the rig you don't have to worry about losing that part. Also, it appears as though mine had been sitting for a long, long time because all of the rubber gaskets were dry rotted and several of them were outright cracked apart. There are no instructions included for how to use the gaskets and I have yet to determine whether the black ones are supposed to get inserted into the detent on the posts - if they are, they don't fit into the receiving holes.Like I said, the rig as a whole is nice, there are just some confusing details. Since it did not come with any literature, it took some guessing to get started. The items were all packed reversed so another thing that took a few minutes to realize is to turn things inside-right before adjusting the straps.Same goes for the arm brace - which is much easier to put together than the product video on Youtube makes it. If you try the video version, you may struggle a bit until you realize that there is a better way (and that it is initially stored inside-out). Rather than assembling it all on your arm when trying to hold it together with the other and adjust straps, just put it all together first, slip an arm through and then tighten the adjusting straps to your comfort level. One more thing worth noting: The carry bag for the Flycam 5000 is nice but it is designed in such a way that you need to break the whole assembly down to repack it. This is great for long-term storage but not so convenient for on-the-go moving between venues.

bottom strap might be an issue.
Once you know how to assemble it, its great. one thing of note., the Velcro for the bottom strap can meet in the middle of your back, if your too fat ,like me, or not fat enough(again like me) you may want to modify the strap to include Velcro all the way across the strap (https://www.amazon.com/Self-Adhesive-Sticky-Fabric-Fastener/dp/B01BZ231K2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1532607805&sr=8-4&keywords=hook+and+loop) remove the adhesive and sew it onto the strap is the best way.

Faulty Product
The parts do not fit each other. Seems as if it is a risk for your camera. Especially with parts falling off. This thing is not stable one bit and this is not an over exaggeration. I highly recommend do not buy this. I’m not the type to give a one star rating unless it is that serious. This is a faulty product. It be does not work as advertised

Product is priced well for the item. I did have to do some minor modifications to work with my Steadicam Solo. No instructions included so some of the parts in a small plastic bag, I have no idea what they are for, nor do I seem to need them.
