They're not as super-soft as some towels, but I don't find the super-soft ones to be absorbent enough. These seem to be well-made; after washing them twice a week for 6 weeks, they are holding up just fine. The pine green color that I bought looks nice, and looks very close to the way it appears on the website. The color doesn't seem to have faded at all. The only thing I don't really like is that the washcloths are SO absorbent--I just checked and one washcloth will absorb over a cup of water.
