I have problems with my grip due to arthritis and have trouble with much cutlery. Not these, they cut meat well on the plate. Front half of blade serrated and good blade length. The balance point is about a quarter of the handle from the blade. These may be basic but they do the job really well for a great price. Ok, you wont bring them out for your next dinner party but sturdy, well made every day cutlery.
