What is the difference between this one and the DT1719 model

The DT1719 has another flashlight at the end, this one only has a small work light.

How do you change the batteries

I really don't know as I have had mine for 2 years and have not needed to change the batteries - I bought several for gifts two years ago and have bought 8 more for gifts this year. It is a wonderful item - sorry I couldn't help you out - Have a beautiful blessed day
