Seems to Work As Well As More Expensive Brands
I have been using Bayer Advantix II. The Advantix II works very well, however, is expensive. I thought I'd give the Vetguard a try as it has the same basic ingredient and percentage. I've used it for two months now on two dogs that live in a tick infested wood area. So far so good. I've only found a couple of dead ticks on the dogs and no fleas. I will update the review if things change.

Doesn't work for fleas
The smell of this stuff might repel some bugs, but you'd do just as well spraying your dog with OFF (please don't actually do that).I have an 80lb husky/shepherd who's allergic to biting insects and has to stay on flea protection or she gets nasty hot spots and rashes...I gambled with this stuff becuase it was cheap and I live in a low-density area for fleas (high desert) but within days my poor dog was itching her fur off, far as I could tell all this stuff does is stink. At least it rinsed off easily, and the (useless) chemicals did not irritate my dog's skin.

Does the job for my dogs
Use this on both my male, 120 lb. Each dog. This might have an odd taste as they at first, similar to front line, they objected to the taste? They soon afterward decided it must work for them because now, they allow me to easily apply to each dog. I notice it works well and has worked toward the commission of flea, tick issues... Mosquitos too I think as where I live we have mosquitos and I see no issue with each dog either. The value for the dollar is great and as long as regularly used, like any other flea commission program with pets, I feel this has been doing the job of combatting any flea issue within or around the home. I use this brand often and order regularly.

Works well for my two dogs
I’ve been using this for several years on our two dogs. So far I’ve only found a couple of dead ticks, plus one luge one that seemed new. A good record for several years. No bad reactions, the dogs don’t seem to care. Gives off a flowery/citrus smell, something like lemons.

helped eliminating a good majority of fleas
I can say this product, helped eliminating a good majority of fleas . But. It didn't quite live up to to what it claimed... I decided I will give another month and shot and see what happens... right now , I am gonna have to say frontline is better. But I will see next dose.

Five Stars
This is probably 3rd repeating order from me. Price is reasonable and delivery is promptly. I put them on all of my dogs by schedule, and I avoid this one state park that I know has ticks. I have not seem fleas or ticks since. The meds are easy to apply and quick. The smell is strong and lasts 2-3 days tho, but that's okay its kinda a reminder to not pat them for a while.

Product does not match ad description!
Product does not match website ad. I haven't used the product yet on either of our two large dogs so I can't write about whether or not it works. But I decided to write a quick review anyway, because the first thing I noticed upon receiving the product is this-- the box pictured on the ad clearly states "kills and repels" fleas. However, the box I received says only kills fleas, but does not say it repels them. It says it repels ticks, lice, and mosquitos, but it does not list fleas in the "repels" line on the box as it does in the ad pic. So already I'm a skeptic..... sooooo, does it repel fleas? Or just kill the ones already on the dog? Who knows. I'll update after we've used it. For $10 we'll take our chances.

Still found fleas.
Two weeks after using, I found some fleas on my dog. I flea bathed him & reapplied. I'm not going to try this brand again. This product does likely cut down on fleas and maybe my dog is too big for this to work thoroughly? Also the oil spot where you apply the flea med, doesn't go away (at least up to two weeks so far).I'm not reordering.
