As I like a looser fit rather than tighter, and I was going to need to hem them down anyways. The waist and crotch and thighs are all roomy. I have no issues being able to have a normal range of movement, and no fear of a tear or blow out when kneeling down or squatting. The materials of the pants have a good weight to them, not to thick and not too thin. All of the stitching seems to be well done in the 3 pairs that I purchased and have held up quite well for the last month. The only reason I knocked a star off is the "belt" and the belt loops. First the belt: It can't really be called a belt other than for looks, if you expect it to function you will be disappointed. Basically it's a step up from using a bit of rope. The materials of it are slightly thicker than the pants and have almost no rigidity to keep it from twisting around while you go about your day. The D-rings that allow you to get a form of tightness seem to be a non-ferrous metal of some kind as I can pass through a metal detector without issue. The stitching that holds the D-rings in place combined with the material cause them to move and shift making the belt loosen and at times come completely undone when the D-rings flip places completely. Now for the Belt Loops: This is pretty simple, there are too few. 5 loops in total is not adequate for anyone with a waist over 30 inches. The layout is this: two in the front, one on either side of the fly; One in the middle of each hip; One in the middle back.
