I can honestly say that in 5 years I haven't had a single jam. I use it at work daily and it still runs as smooth as the day I took it out of the box. I almost didn't buy this one simply because the staples are so expensive but I just stock up when I find them on sale. If you burn through electric staplers like I did in the past, (a new one every year) get this stapler and you may never have to buy another one again!
