I bought them for myself, so for me not an issue. As a suggestion, I would lightly rub some mineral oil on the pens and case, it will soften the feel and bring out the grain. Very happy with this set

I wanted to give 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4. Pens are nice however the packaging wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be. The leather case was sort of wrinkled and didn’t look as good as it should have been. Over all, it’s alright for the price..
