Its's fantastic. What started out as your basic, run-of-the-mill harem series evolved into something beautiful by the end. All the characters are great, the stories are great, especially in Season II, the art gets better in each volume. I won't talk too much about everything beforehand, but just know that while the first 2 volumes of the series (Season 1), volume 3 is where things start to pick up and the author starts planting the seeds for the next arcs, which all comes down to this final volume, the big showdown between Yokai Academy and the leader and founder of Fairy Tale. The scenes between Moka and Tsukune and just absolutely beautiful and the author really brings all the build-up to their relationship and the initial confession to a beautiful close. While the ending and fate of certain characters leave me saddened, I cannot say that it was a bad ending. Yes, the author still has more he can write, but the rosario part of the story is over and is a very bittersweet ending. Also, the epilogue, while not a definitive closure for the series but more of an "OVA" type chapter, was absolutely hilarious and is a nice little send off to this great series. If you're looking for a well written harem manga that has more focus on romance rather than the actual harem, I'd say definitely give this series a try, but just be wary of the first 2 volumes, as they are your basic harem antic stories. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fun *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2024* Fun to see the series after the anime ended ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars The end is a new beginning *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2023* It’s about damn time Tsukune and Moka share a kiss. Just wish it wasn’t under such heartbreaking circumstances. Tsukune accepted his fate and became a vampire in the end after all, and he told Saizo in the first chapter of season 1 volume 1 he was a vampire. He saved the life of the woman he loves even if it meant an end to his humanity. Alucard has been defeated, Akasha set free (sort of) and the memories of Outer Moka are now hers. Both newly christened first ancestors mourn the loss of Moka’s mother. Ten months pass and now Tsukune is continuing high school as he slowly gets used to his new life as a vampire and his future as the next headmaster of Yokai Academy is gonna be guided by Moka’s father?! The mini comic strips at the end that depict Kurumu and Mizore’s plan to bear Tsukune’s kids in his dreams is an interesting change of pace from how those two constantly interrupt tender moments between Moka and Tsukune.
