The tin is just gorgeous, and the real wood top has a rustic finish that's perfect.I chose bourbon vanilla in this candle because I love vanilla scents. When the Amazon box arrived, it was easy enough to tell which one was this candle. The scent had permeated the candle box, the bubble wrap around the candle box, and the Amazon box!I was worried that the candle's scent would be too strong when lit. Sadly that wasn't the case. All I could smell was burning candle with the vaguest hint of vanilla.I would have liked to give this candle a higher rating, but the lack of scent from a scented candle was disappointing. Well, I was expecting something like the smell of pipe tobacco. To me, it smells NOTHING like rum, tobacco, clove, or vanilla. Maybe it smells like a little like jasmine.Personally, I think they just mixed a lot of random nice smells together and hit the candle name generator. I'm not totally unhappy with it.
