Review: A must for your home first aid kit - I came across these as a dressing when nurses used them, first for my mother and then my father. If you, or those you care for has delicate skin which tears these are a must. I used them recently on my father who had torn large chunks of skin right off his arms when falling. They are fantastic in terms of staying on long enough to give the body enough time to start growing back skin. They also are padded so reduce the risk of further damage and absorbent. They do cost a lot more than plasters but be assured they are nothing like plasters in quality and use. Not something to use on everyday cuts and grazes but really work on wounds that are not quite bad enough to justify a visit to the doctor.

**Q: How long can you leave them on**
A: I kept mine on for 4 days before I changed it on a burn, but it depends on the severity of the wound. I found this dressing the most comfortable out of all the ones I tried for the same injury.

I came across these as a dressing when nurses used them, first for my mother and then my father. If you, or those you care for has delicate skin which tears these are a must. I used them recently on my father who had torn large chunks of skin right off his arms when falling. They are fantastic in terms of staying on long enough to give the body enough time to start growing back skin. They also are padded so reduce the risk of further damage and absorbent. They do cost a lot more than plasters but be assured they are nothing like plasters in quality and use. Not something to use on everyday cuts and grazes but really work on wounds that are not quite bad enough to justify a visit to the doctor.
