I wish this product was available a while back before I wasted my money on one of those all-in-one 'jack of all trades, master of none' floor board products. This unit along with stuff I already had works perfectly. Some notes: as indicated no power supply is included -- it worked great with my pedal power's high current 400 ma output. Get the editor going soon as you get it. The editor is very useful. Like other products of this type, the default presets may not be to your taste. There are a myriad of tweaks available and the editor made dialing those in very easy. The different types of EQs available is a stroke of genius. So far, I am very impressed.

I switched recently from a traditional amp with multi effects to using the head rush FRfr 8 in speakers with the helix stomp in particular. I felt the sound not as crisp or my reverb and delays as hollow as I like it but still didn’t want to return to just using one amp. Then I’m blending amps when I use the modelers and sounds not as good as they were designed to imitate. So I bought this and with the amps turned off and just the cabinets and mikes functioning I finally started dialing in the sound I wanted to hear, with the ability to use multiple amps with super fast switching. The presents are well set up but since I don’t use the amps, I just switch the cabinets and mics. You can also mess with the EQ settings but I leave that alone. I’ve been playing long enough to know what I don’t know and adjusting those on this would just hurt what has been dialed in well. But that’s up to you, and the feature is there for you. And on my Helix i only use the amplifier modeling without the cabinets and of course the effects and IR. It separates the tone better and gives the mic’d up sound that i think most who want to buy this are looking for. I tried all this with my older Digitech RP360 and it was a major improvement.. The tube amps and the cabinets on this alone wouldn’t sound very good through a PA system in my opinion, so another amplifier would be the most ideal way to set it up with this. JOYO products are really coming around to top quality for less price.

I love being able to switch between different cabs. I even added my own IRs. What I like most is how I can go directly into my DAW and still sound like a mic'd amplifier.

Seller is very nice, the first one is defect, after I provide the video to confirm the defection, the seller sent me a replacement immediately, and this one is really great, wow I owe a lot of cabinets now

This is a cheap option but doesn't compare to my Iridium. It sounds dull and lifeless and the amp models don't have much to distinguish them from each other. It also doesn't take pedals very well.
