The rucksack is very light in weight but extremely roomy. It is well stitched and made. The material is rain resistant. The zips are good. There are numerous compartments and different types for items like laptop which is padded, pens clothes etc. There’s even a compartment on the back so you can put your passport and money in which is zipped so they are more theft resistant if that’s possible. A really good rucksack especially for travelling. She was excited by the dedicated headphone hole but the fact she wants allowed to bring any technology escaped her.The padding on the arms was sufficient although my daughter complained but that's just because she has never carried anything heavy before. The main compartment has a large capacity. It is waterproof and the material is strong. However, i would still use my rucksack cover to be sure as the rain in Scotland can soak through anything .
