I have 5 kids and multiple kinds of skates between them, both quad skates & inline. ALL of our skates are roller derby. We have been happy with them all, so far, except for these. They roll well, but they are made of cheap flimsy plastic. The buckle straps are flimsy and the outter plaster boot is as well. The inner boot is not very cushy. Its flimsy as well. By sons ankles constantly hurt in these. They are easy for him to get on and off by himself. He is a shoe size 13/1, and the size 2-5 fits him perfectly. I suggest ordering up a size. I think we should get a year or two out of them.
