Pretty much indistinguishable from a Thorlabs or Newport stage in terms of quality, smoothness of the micrometers, though it remains to be seen how it holds up. Only one complaint, but its a big one. The pattern to mount it uses four M4 SHCS on a 90mm square. Extremely non-standard, even for weirdo metric components. Basically guarantees that you'll need to machine or 3D print a custom adapter plate. But if you have access to a machine shop or 3D printer to make such a plate, its not a bad deal.

**Q: How much movement is there in the Z axis (up and down) as downward pressure is applied to the surface?**
A: I only use these for a 3 pound load, and there is no deflection.  In fact the plates just slide across each other, so I wouldn't expect any Z movement.

**Q: what's the center loading capacity ?**
A: 140N

**Q: How does this stage mount to a base, like to a table? Thanks**
A: Much depends on how you want to mount it. There are countersunk through-holes in all four corners of the back plate that are accessible by moving the lower stage all the way in one direction or the other.

**Q: I need to attach an optical post on it. Can you let me know the available set screw hole dimension on the board?**
A: M3; M4 metric standard threaded holes

Pretty much indistinguishable from a Thorlabs or Newport stage in terms of quality, smoothness of the micrometers, though it remains to be seen how it holds up. Only one complaint, but its a big one.
