Perfect for a shower gift! Every parent needs one of these. Quick, simple, easy and painless to use. Results are very accurate. I find It to be more accurate than other brands I’ve purchased in the past. Having a sick baby is already a stressful situation, but having this thermometer takes some of the stress away by providing fast and accurate results! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for fast ear temp reads! *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019* I like that you can do a forehead or an ear scan and it switches modes automatically when you take the cap off or put it back on. I found the ear reading to be more accurate than the forehead reading. It is also nice to be able to get an idea of ambient temp of a bottle as well. It reads so fast that I don't think it allows enough time for the forehead scan to take accurately as it always shows 1-1.5 degrees lower than the ear reach, which shows as accurate with other thermometers we use. ### ⭐ Disappointed... *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019* I purchased this because it had very good reviews. I must have gotten a bad unit. Its easy to use but always gives inaccurate readings. I can keep it in exactly the same spot, never moving it, and it will show temperatures that vary up to 6 degrees. This occurs no matter how I use it (ear, forhead, or just checking the room temp). Also, if I believe any of the temps I get from my husband or myself, we are both hypothermic. It's never said I'm above 95 degrees.
