In the picture the 60 inch tortilla blanket is compared to a 71 inch blanket from another brand. I didn't realize there was such a big difference in sizes. The 71 inch is about the size of an average throw blanket. But the 60 inch is definitely way more child size than adult. Its definitely soft on the inside and is very sturdy, after a quick wash I'm sure I'll be perfect for just a lap blanket or a child's gift.
