This is wiped clean easily without damaging the vinyl. The paper is thick and super sticky BUT it's somewhat delicate. I don't know if it's because of the embossing but it will tear in weird angles if you pull in the wrong spot or try to pull it up after you laid it down. I covered the top of a shelf and the paper tore when I tried pulling around the edges.You should also know that the 78.7" is made up of two small rolls, not one long one.
