How do they sell this kind of quality for so little? *by K***X on April 7, 2019* I bought four these because they were a daily deal, not expecting much, considering the cost. Boy, was I surprised with these!First, know these are quite large. I love that about them because I have plenty of smaller scarves, and you are pretty limited in how you can wear them due to their smaller size.I also collect vintage designer scarves (e.g. Gucci, Hermes, LV, Fendi, etc.) of all sizes, and while these are not HIGH END or Haute Couture scarves, with a little maneuvering, they could easily pass for one--even from a short distance. ***The trick is in the folding. High end and designer scarves have hand-sewn, rolled slip-stitched hems (they are also usually made of high-pressure printed silk twill, but that is not necessarily true of designer lightweight, summer scarves).***Anyhow, if you fold these with the hems in, they look substantial enough to pass. However, if you are handy with a needle, you could easily roll the hems of these scarves over once and carefully slip stitch them, and that would be all that's really needed to make them look very high end.About the quality: even though these are (at least to a very experienced sewer) clearly poly-silk, the fabric is high enough quality that it doesn't appear to be. It looks a lot like silk (but doesn't necessarily always drape that way, depending on how you fold it, and it won't hold wrinkles in the same manner that silk does).The finish is smooth, un-muttled, and absolutely consistent. Like high-end silk, there is no inconsistencies in the fabric density or weave, which is great because it means you won't have to worry about any pressure-related tears or pinholes like you would with most cheaper scarves.Also, the design printing of these scarves is surprisingly high quality! Most less-expensive scarves have occasional errors in the print of the design, (e.g. where the ink either didn't fully transfer, or it bled a bit, or has tiny cast-off spots or even small gaps in the design because a micro-fold was present before printing and it created an unprinted space in the print design). I looked very carefully at each of the four scarves I received, and...NOT a single print error on any of them!Long and short of it is, if you want a designer look without the price tag, or have just been looking for a beautiful scarf you don't have to worry about accidentally soiling, THESE ARE IT. Buy it! *by P***. on November 19, 2018* As soon I saw it inside the semi sheer package I knew it was pure silk. The orange scarf is a lovely bold color. The size is generous to use it as a pashmina or for whatever you want. Do yourself a favor and buy this luxury piece that will last for a decade if you take good care of it.
