The surface is soft, and the dual sided surfaces are nice. The cuff is nice and tight, which is great, since I'm prone to dropping the mitt onto the dirty ground - which immediately means I can't use it anymore.My main complaint is that after about three washes, its starting to 'shed' on the scrubbing side, and microfiber feels stiffer than the day I bought.
