Was a slight challenge to assemble, but I couldn't give up. Just look at the hand drawn photos, it will help you with crossbar location. Looks great in the hallway.

    A little assembly advice for this attractive piece…

Wanted to weigh in here since so many have reported assembly problems.  The pieces are all labeled and the diagrams are useful – you just have to make sure to keep an eye on the position of the holes and tabs from the start.  Critically, I think maybe the cause of most issues is that in the diagrams, the base is reoriented between the first and second steps.  So flip it over after the first six pieces go together.This piece is great for my space and I love the modern base.  The faux marble top is actually not too bad.  The veining is subtle enough to be believed.  Unfortunately it's a little too glossy.  Would appear more authentic with a less shiny appearance, in my opinion.For the price, I think this piece is outstanding.  Great aesthetics and value.
