I, of course, can't say if the book is accurate or not as I wasn't there. Just like the Bible, I'm trusting the writers and editors of the information to be truthful. However, the book by Notovitch did resonate with me and I feel it is truthful and was not an attempt to gain popularity or profit. The account of the loss years reads similar to the New Testimant in that it if filled with love, forgiveness, and understanding. I did find it interesting that the writings say that it was Pilate and not the Israelites who condemned Issa/Jesus. Additionally, I found it interesting that Issa says, when the Israelites ask him how they should thank their heavenly Father when their temples were destroyed, "God cared not for temples erected by human hands, but that human hearts were the true temples of God."
