I put three coats on a table top after enough light sanding to clean up all the stains. Went on beautifully. Looked great with no discoloring, which I appreciate. What I don't know yet is how it will perform. The label says to give two applications a year. That seems excessive and says to me that the stuff really isn't that good at its primary job: waterproofing outdoor wood. But we'll see. I'll probably sand it again in the spring and put on another couple of coats. If it protects the wood with that sort of routine, I'll be satisfied.
