I will say I am not fit in anyway and there is no way I would have got up half of the hills I got up if it were not for the 250 watt motor on this bike, the low , medium and high pedal assist options are great and it is easy to assess which option you'll need depending on the hill.The battery was a lot heavier than I expected when holding it, feels like holiding a 3 LTR bottle of coca cola but I can forgive that weight because its capacity is decent for what you get from the bike, at full charge and from 5 charge Bars on power panel, I was able to cycle a moderate distance of 12 miles, that includes a lot of hills and even more to get back home, I had 2-3 Bars left by the time I got to my front door, using a variety of low - high pedal assist for the hills and some throttling (3-5) mins worth for fun on flat surface. But overall the bike will get me to work and back total of (7 Miles) no problem with plenty of Battery left over.It had started to rain at one point when returning home and It was raining quite heavy, the bikes power maintained fine and the motor just kept plodding on like it wasn't raining, I was grateful as I had still a lot of hills and steep inclines to cycle up to get back home. the only thing worth noting in this regard due to heavy rain is once I removed the battery, there was a small puddle of rain water in the cup area where the battery back end plugs into, I quickly dried this off with a towel, so it May be worth your time buying some water sealing tape to put around this area to keep it dry, I was very fortunate that the puddle didn't short circuit my electrics.Conclusion :I certainly think the bike is good value for money. This bike gets me to and from work in less than half the time of a normal bike and saves me money than using public transport. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional at the price you pay, great with a few upgrades. *by M***N on December 29, 2018* The bike is good, (see below) but I needed about $100 in upgrades to make it comfortable:1. New pedals. The ones it came with are weak plastic, and broke the second time out. Replaced with metal.2. The seat is not at all comfortable. Replaced with a nice soft one that I can ride all day.3. Seat pole is way too short. If I was small enough for the cute one it came with, I would've gotten the smaller bike, not the 26" bike.4. I bought a lock. I'm not sure if it should have come with one or not, but would have been nice I think. Considering the pedals and all.Review:I ride this bike 18 miles a day as my commuter to work. I'm 6'1" and weigh 235lbs. The battery will go from full to 2 bars left whether I pedal assist or go full e-bike mode the whole way. My route is very flat. So far, it's great for what I bought it for, especially after the upgrades. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bike *by V***R on October 8, 2018* I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this electric bike. I find that the twist grip throtle works better for me than the peddle assist low, medium and high settings. It is not necessary to change out of high gear to climb most hills while peddling with the throttle also providing power. The shocks work well on dirt paths and the seat is comfortable. On power alone the bike goes about 15 to 18 mph on flat ground. I have been able to go about 24 miles using combined power and peddling before running out of battery.
