But, I'm sure that these are probably guys pants being sold to women. Even the picture looks like a guy. Having said that, these can be easily modified by putting an elastic in the back over the spine area to cause the waist to gather or sew in partial or full darts in the back to gather the waist. The pull tie shown in the front does not work to gather the waist. It is just a tie for the front. I would comment that the sizing is not consistent. I bought two pairs in a size six.
