So after I applied the film to the window, the following day I noticed some air bubbles. I contacted the supplier about this and one other thing about using the leftover film for the other side of the window. The supplier was very quick in responding to the messages via desertcart and also very helpful with their advice. I think that it is important to point out my experience with the customer service as sometimes this is lacking but in this case they were very good in my experience. About the bubbles, this issue may have been in the instructions but for some reason I did not read them but watched the Youtube videos instead. Anyway, CS told me that they will disappear after 14 odd days. Funny enough, they were spot on! I did apply the film on the other side of the window as I was very concerned that the glass was very thin (1970's glass). Little bubbles were present but after a while they just vanished! Overall, I found this a good product but also the CS when you have issues was there but also knowledgeable at the same time. For me this is good experience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a brilliant and quite easy product to apply but I feel, only if you have prep space and everything you need in hand. Also preparation is the key to this I feel. The videos you can find on the net give you a good idea what the process is and how to get pretty much spot on. Just make sure you know which side is the film! My only advice is really to make sure the area is clean including the window as you dont want to pick up dust or dirt if you have to pull off a corner to apply back again. For me when I wet the window water dripped down to the sill and this was painted with emulsion and this then 'dirtied' the water a bit and was picked up when I redid a corner so I have a slight white fog in one corner. This is no an issue with the product but install error ie me! :-( For peace of mind, I am very happy with this product as long as it does what it says it will do but you only know this when it's protective properties are needed. Review: Good quality stuff. - I bought this film to add security to a full glass pane external plastic door. I recommend you read the install document thoroughly first and get all the tools recommended. Google also there's plenty of videos out there to help. Washing the window before starting is critical. I say you can't wash it enough. Any marks or deposits left on the window will show up once the film is on. It's not a difficult process but make sure you get both the film and window well wetted with slip solution before applying the film. I'd never done one before and it came out really well. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This film curls up in the corners during application to the glass *by A***N on 8 August 2025* Works well, but frustratingly difficult to apply because it curls up at the corners and comes away from the glass.
