Very disappointed to get the incorrect answer from the manufacturer. Worse, the box says ‘li-ion battery’ on the main face but NIMH on the bottom. The toothbrush itself is marked NIMH in the bottom too. Completely misleading **Q: Does this product come with a guarantee** A: If you purchase from within the EU you can get a 2year garuntee as with EVERYTHING sold within the EU. Philips does honour this garuntee will. If you're buying from within the UK this is extended to 5/6 years with amazon. **Q: Had mine for 4 months, does it always take 24 hours to charge , or is there something wrong with mine. Which meant you could see that it had been battered about a bit as no protection. This was a gift but felt i couldnt give it as such as by the state of the box it looked old and secondhand. Went out to shops and bought one in a better state. I kept this one as a back up incase i need one.
