Instructions on cutting/joining would have been helpful but there's always the internet to refer to so not a major problem unless of course you don't have internet. Setting up to operate by the remote is simple, just plug in and go. Set up with the app takes a little more patience and time but is relatively straightforward. Set up with Alexa was a bit of a pain taking a couple of hours trying different things due to a lack of guidance but I got there eventually. I have the lights concealed in my conservatory for background ambient lighting and they are very effective. Being able to alter the brightness and colour means the light can be altered to match the mood of the moment. Even on full they are not excessively bright. The control means you can steplessley reduce or increase the brightness from full to off and vice versa. If you need to route around corners you will need angled joints in addition to this kit as the strip is not overly flexible. In conclusion, nice lights, good value at the reduced price and a pleasing addition to time spent relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book.

**Q: can I add another 5m cable only - I only see options to buy the whole package with remote and power supply - I have 10m but need another 5m adding**
A: We’re you able to get them sorted? I bough the same and am wondering if I could add another strip also

**Q: Will the adhesive remove paint off the walls or mark them in any way upon removal?**
A: Absolutely. If you decide to remove/move them it will most likely strip the paint off the surface it's attached to for about approximately 20% of the area of the strip - i.e. the adhesive area. The good thing is it sticks without the need for additional fixing but that comes with a price if/once it's removed.

**Q: if i bought 2 packs could one remote/app work both or could i connect them toghether so id have 2x10m strips and can get the 2x5m strips separate**
A: 2 strips. 1 remote. 
Use a male-male-pin extender (provided) to connect the two female connectors, one of each you find at the end of each strip. Be aware that you need to toggle them to ensure you've placed them correctly. You will know if they are correct - i.e. as all the colours will work - or the wrong way around as the remote will not function 100% - i.e. you'll lose certain colours. - we lost green, among others. Just remove the male-male-pin connector and flip it around and it should fix things.

**Q: Can i add another 10 meters using the same power source and app?**
A: As far as I know yes as long it's the same type of LEDs cables. I have 4 running off one controller.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great set of LED lights

I was a little bit doubtful about these lights at first. When they arrived I lined them around my room ceiling and ran the wires down a corner of the room securing them in place with the given brackets. They are bright and the controller works perfectly. I actually use these more than my main room lights as these are brighter and I feel more relaxed with the different hues. The only problem I have with these lights is with the adhesive strips. They have been peeling off but I secured it with some double sided tape and it is fine now. I love the fact these lights also have connectors at the ends but they are a lil big and bulky.
