Definitely some learning curve on how to cook in this new way. Getting the unit to light is counter intuitive. Check out Youtube for the proper technique - And NO, you will most likely not figure this out on your own until you have spilled some red wine down the front of your shirt. Assembly was easy except for front extension. I needed about 4 tries from different angles, plus a "gentle nudge" from a hammer. Spent the money for their cover. It is no better than OK as it doesn't cover that pesky front extension. Note that some, if not all, of the photos from GYBER fail to show the extension as uncovered. Not a big big deal, but am still left wondering why companies feel the need to hide the "the truth and nothing but the truth" from their customers.
