Regardless, it comes with a really protective plastic case lined with styrofoam so I don’t think it would break. The hydrometer is also a little difficult to read because the lines are so small and close together, but again this seems standard and all of the other products I saw on desertcart so I think that’s just how they are made. Know that you pretty much will need to purchase a turkey baster to get test samples from your mead to the cylinder. I’ve really enjoyed this product and other than just waiting an excessively long time, it’s the only way to know when your mead is done fermenting.
