For this low, low price I was not expecting much but these are solid wood and sturdy. Granted, it’s pine and not a hardwood but if you’re painting them you will never know. Since they are pine and not a sturdier would like oak I’m not entirely sure how much weight I would trust them to hold. They appear to be sturdy enough to hold up to the 200 pounds that the description says is the limit, but I don’t plan to test that. These are more for decoration for me. You will need to be prepared to do some sanding. Out of the 4 legs I ordered- 2 of them were very rough and the other 2 only slightly rough. Both required standing with a coarse grit and then a fine grit before painting. They are level and even and the intricate floral design on the front is intact and gorgeous. One of the legs did have a couple of deep nicks but nothing that couldn’t be buffed out. The legs don’t come with any hardware to attach them to your furniture, or even any pilot holes in them, so you will need to be prepared to add those. They are wonderful, especially for the price, and you won’t find a better deal on desertcart. I am certain I will be purchasing more. Review: Very pretty.
