He has used it everyday for the last 4 Months now and we still love it! It has held up well, is still totally functioning (zipper still works!), and he gets compliments on it all the time (mostly from parents who remember when legos were just legos, and not characters!). It is a little smaller at the opening, but I actually like that. It's not spilling open with all of his stuff falling out when he gets something out of it. And it is a little smaller of an overall storage compartment as well, but again, I like that. He is in Kindergarten and does not need a huge backpack, because really he only carries his lunch and maybe a folder and sweater. So, I think this works well with younger kids who don't need a lot of stuff, but maybe for older kids with more supplies this would be too small of a compartment. The fit/size is perfect for my 5 year old, and there is a little buckle between the straps to keep them in place, which he likes to use.
