Can someone else confirm?** A: I contacted TP-Link to ask them this question. Version 4 of the product supports 10/100/1000 auto-negotiation. Switch your cable to cat 7 for better speed. If your willing to spend the money, get a 3ft cat7 cable connect that cable from modem to this converter, get a FO cable for 100 ft run ( they are about $40 to $50 on eBay) connect the cable to a second converter at the end of the run and use a 3ft cat 7 cable to connect to your device. By the way on the back of the converter there is a switch that says auto and force, switch it to force.
