I travel around the world working with different militaries. These Danner boots are light, breathable, comfortable, and still have a lot of support, and toughness. I recently had ankle replacement surgery and was looking to accommodate my current leg/ ankle situation. I am 100% happy w/ the feel and will probably always go w/ Danner boots. Grips excellent on any terrain, even without a heel it doesn't slip. Im 61, worn everything, still hike with 40# weight vest, these are 5 star because they are more comfortable than my Zephyrs that I've worn for years. They look nice too. I don't care for all danner boots, styles, but the comfort and cushion is superb. The 4.5 height is nice too, it feels very stable on my foot, the Lacing was Very Well thought out.
