The worked pretty well. I like the dispenser, though you end up needing two hands to tear off a bag. It would be nice if the dispenser made it easier to do that single-handedly. The other thing that kept this product from a 5-star rating is the size of the actual bags. Like I said, we have a puppy who will grow into a small dog. To avoid waste, we end up using the bags to collect 2-3 piles of poop. It would be more helpful if these bags came in two sizes: small and regular. If these bags were 1/3 smaller than what they are presently, it would work really well and save on waste. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Smart design for a poo bag holder! *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2016* As first I wasn't sure if I liked this fire hydrant style poo dispensers because there is a hook at the back that the leash cord often got hooked on. But, it has a purpose; to hook the filled poo bag onto for carrying. It's a nice feature. So, instead of holding the filled bag as I walk my two mini-schnauzers, I can just hook the bag. I just twist the bag to secure the contents then hook the bag, loop around the hook and hook again. This makes it easy to unhook to open the bag for the second dog. My boys often poo twice so the bag gets pretty full, but it stays secure. Managing two dogs together means a lot of leash maneuvering and the bag has always stayed secure. Another feature I like is that the post that holds the bags is on the lid and not in the fire hydrant. This makes it easier to pull the first bag out; just pull it out before putting the cap on. The Velcro-like fastener allows the holder to be hooked to any size leash as there's plenty of extra. I slipped a mini light on the velcro for finding poo in the dark. I originally gave it a 4 but after reviewing all of its great features I gave it a 5. I think most dog owners have many bag holders in a drawer that just don't work well. This is by far the best designed poo bag holder I have ever used and will buy again if needed. After several months of use, it's really sturdy and so is the hook. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good, durable, & Velcro-tie's to your leash easily. You may lose the first bag looking and picking for it but there is a white sticker where it begins just unscrew the base and remove the sticker, line it up and replace the roll and screw cap. It is very convenient to use and comes with a Velcro loop to tie around any leash handle to have with you. I highly recommend this, have one for each car and leash and a spare (5), will buy more and I hope this helps someone to pick up after their dog as they should and raise the percentage of responsible dog owners from only 40%. 44% will only pick up poop if asked! Most just leave it when it could easily be picked up. Some even pick-up others messes and old stuff. It is not a natural breakdown process in our current man-made settings.
