My dog normally wears a medium. I ordered XL. Fits really nice. A tad too big but not too much so. If it shrinks a little bit, it will be just right. They are very cute. The only problem I have is that the sleeves are a little too long (my dog has short legs) so I will have to hem them a little, but I don't count that against the product as the sleeves are in the correct proportion to the rest of the garment. I bought these little polos for a girl dog.
