The open portion on the bottom makes your tummy look really fat. Basically the leg strings are pulling it down and the waist part is pulling it tight, so it makes the fat bulge out like a muffin top but in the center of your tummy. Some might think the effect is cute but most women probably don't. I think it's kinda cute. Basically this isn't a flattering or smoothing piece of lingerie, but it still looks pretty cute. According to their size chart, a XXL (20-22) best fit, but naw.Maybe it's better for taller individuals because I have a short torso, too. It fits around, but there is excess material lengthwise so it doesn't fit like a glove.
